The Mag Box was one of the first IPTV Media Boxes that I came across when reviewing my options. When I was researching Mag Box options, the Mag Box 250 and the 254/255 models were highlighted as their most popular range with several new models to be launched in 2016 eg Mag277. The IPTV Mag Box is well priced at under A$100.
The IPTV Mag Box is not a particularly well known system in Australia. Much of its success is in Europe and I suppose in the US. Limited access via Ebay.com.au tells you its history.
One of the most appealing features of the IPTV Mag Box is the simple IPTV software that it comes with. Unlike the feature rich KODI system found on most Android Boxes, the IPTV Mag Box has a simple interface which makes it really easy to use no matter your computer skills.
IPTVFlicks can provide you with the required setup for trialling on your Mag Box. There is no link as such, in fact most of the work is done at our back end using the Mac ID of your IPTV Mag Box.
What is the Mac ID?
Underneath every Mac box lives a Mac ID. This is a a unique code for your Mag Box. In order to setup IPTVFlicks for your Mag Box, you will need to supply us this code. The code looks like this: 00:1A:89:27:C3:C7
Once you have sent us this code, we will process it for you and then send you the Portal Address to add the Portal URL section on your Mag Box. You can access this via Settings > Servers > Portals. The IPTVFlicks Portal address is http://ssd.bstream.eu/bsdev/mag/
Having added the URL to the portals section, use the KB button to return to the main screen and then go to Reload Portal and click OK. Now select Portal 1 and OK.
Reload your channels
Once this has been added, the IPTVFlicks channel list will be loaded. It should be as simple as that. So if you have an existing IPTV Mag Box – Mag 250, 254 or 260 (not Mag 255/256) send us an email and we will happily give you a free trial of our services.
Please note that if you have trialled with another IPTV service which utilises the same servers as IPTVFlicks your Mac ID will most likely already be registered on the server and so you will need to wait until it is cleared before you can test with us. This can take a few days.
