Search through the Apple iTunes app store, and you would think that Apple doesn’t want you to find a simple and easy to use app for IPTV on iPhone. There are in-fact many listed on the store but work through them like I have done and you will soon realise that 99% of them are very poor alternatives if you want to use a service such as IPTVFlicks. The best app for IPTV on iPhone that I have found is GSE Smart IPTV Pro.
GSE SMART IPTV is an Advance IPTV solution for live TV/stream with built-in powerful player that supports most formats including RTMP (all options and support JSON formats), M3U formats , Database formats etc.
I have honestly installed and uninstalled over 20 applications and landed on this one after having originally tried it and deleted it. Unfortunately its lack of instructions (or my in-patience in finding them) were what lead me to delete it the first time.
GSE Smart IPTV Pro is the best app for IPTV on iPhone because it is really easy to use (and I will show you how below) as well as being free of charge. It will support both an M3U list that you might store locally on your iPad or a Remote List which can also be an auto updated.
To add a Remote Playlist, click the Red “+” button on the top right of the page. A popup will appear asking if you want to add an M3U URL or a JSON URL. Please select the M3U URL option.
The final step is to Name your Remote Playlist and copy and paste the link we send you. As per the image below, replace the “My M3u” text with a tile that you prefer and add the AUStream link in the field below it. Now click “Add” to save it.
Before you can view the playlist you need to load it up. Go back to the Remote Playlist page and you should see your playlist listed. Click the 3 bars on the right and select “Add Playlist to Database”. Once this step has been successful you can then click on the actual Playlist to load it to your screen.
Our channels will be grouped into categories for you. Select the category and then the channel.
To play your list of channels on the GSR Smart IPTV Pro app simply navigate back to your list of Remote Playlists and select the playlist you just created. Your list of channels will show and you can then select the channel you wish to view.
